THE HIGH HEART NURTURING PRACTICE
R = Rebecca
A = Annassa
R: What is the High Heart?
A: Are your hands free, Rebecca?
Take you left hand and place it at the high heart. It is very much on the right side but you don’t have to be so specific. Let’s just say above the cleavage (if you draw a line from your nipple to the collarbone it is halfway in between) – where you can feel your rib bones. Place your left hand there and your right hand on the solar plexus (just below the rib cage). Just sit like that for a moment or two. Feel the heat in your hands and close your eyes. You will notice that immediately your breathing starts to shift into a more relaxed pattern.
R: It just stopped.
A: Sometimes you have to remember to breathe. (laughter)
With your hands in this position you are participating in universal flow. Your life force energy, your prana, is flowing through you and you are quieting and you are connected to the All That Is, and it is very nurturing.
Take note: This position is the position most mothers cradle their newborns in. Where your right hand is, is where your baby’s bottom might sit in the palm and where your left hand is, is where your baby’s back might be. This is the single most nurturing thing you can do for yourself.
And as you are here you become so very aware without even trying that you are LOVE. That’s it Rebecca. No tools, no direction, no real structure, no pathway to enlightenment. You are being…….There is no trying, there is no doing, there is just simply being. And you are the love you are and you are nurturing that.
R: It’s so beautiful.
A: Please share this. This is the ultimate in recovery to anything. And it is simple restoration and nurturing. It does not have to be used because there was crisis or chaos. It is meant to be done just at any moment and you become so aware of oneness. Again there is no effort. You just very consciously without effort synchronize to the All of the All that is. Love.
R: It’s so simple.
A: And that’s profound. People clamor looking to others for help. How do I care for myself? How do I nurture myself? You teach them this. You do this. You pollInate this.
And person to person when you explain to them the act of holding the infant on the chest almost everyone can relate to that. And there is this universal understanding right there in that moment that it is the ultimate in self-nurturing to have your hands in this position.
If you think for a moment that at least one time for most people they have all held an infant just so. And there is nothing that they would do to interrupt those moments. These are the most cherished moments. So to place your hands in this position aligns you with such oneness. The simplest act of self-care. You can feel the love.
R: It’s amazing. Why didn’t we all learn this when we were two years old?
A: Because no one was teaching it. Mothers were knowing it because they were all holding their babies just so. But the demands of life were also pulling on them. And soon they have gone to sleep within themselves because they were doing their best to keep their family alive. And by the end of the day most are so tired they don’t remember this. And they don’t even know that this is what they are longing for when they are hungry and when they are craving alcohol and self sabotaging and being self destructive--and when they are speaking poor thoughts to themselves. They don’t understand that this is the very thing they need. To be still for just a few moments. It can make you weep just thinking how simple and how necessary this is.
R: It is as necessary as breathing.
A: Yes. It is fundamental.
A: Well, you know, it is really truly the wonder of frequency. And to sit in such a way and to nurture oneself in such a way. Really what you are doing is restoring to your homeostatic frequency. Which has no touch whatsoever in terms of time. However it reaches through all disharmonic frequency in all dimensions. One could say we are repairing the timeline of your life with this self-nurturing, right? One could easily look from the age they are now to infancy and say that we are traveling through time. But really what we are doing is, in a sense of wholeness, we are harmonizing a nurturing frequency for ourselves that reaches through dimension. Do you understand that?
R: Yes because dimension is timeless.
A: It is a multidimensional frequency. Nurturing, love permeates. It is very simple. And yet if you were to describe how it can create and affect wholeness for a person your language will fall short every time.
R: That is the truth.
A: You asked us a long time ago “Who is Annassa? What is Annassa?” We are that. We are of that. We are this frequency.
